Two adults are dead after a shooting in a gated Black Forest neighborhood near Colorado Springs, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter Monday night.

The shooting occurred during a “disturbance” in the 15000 block of Pole Pine Point in Black Forest in the Black Forest Reserve gated neighborhood near Hodgen Road and Meridian Road.

Deputies arrived at the house and found two adults dead.

The sheriff’s office has not released any details about what caused the disturbance that lead to the shooting but they said they believe the shooting was isolated with no “known threat to the community.”
