A woman was shot dead inside an Aurora residence Thursday evening, and police are searching for the suspected shooter.
Aurora police responded to the 10700 block of East Exposition Avenue about 7 p.m. after a 911 caller, the victim’s sister, reported overhearing an argument followed by a gunshot when on the phone, according to a police department post on X.
Police found a woman at the scene with a gunshot wound. According to a news release, the 35-year-old woman had died at the scene.
As of 4:30 p.m. Friday, a suspect has not been identified, and there were no arrests.
