Northbound traffic on E-470 is flowing at East Colfax Avenue after an earlier 90-minute closure because of a crash in the area, Aurora police said.
The crash involved to semi-trucks and happened at East 26th Avenue, police said.
The Aurora Police Department, in a 12:34 p.m. tweet, described the incident as a “major crash,” and drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Traffic was diverted onto Interstate 70, police said. The lanes reopened about 2 p.m. after the crash was cleared.
