An Aurora Police detective injured off-duty in a motorcycle accident is recovering, police officials have announced.
Detective Jennifer Mills was injured on Aug. 20 while riding a newly purchased motorcycle in Nebraska. She was treated there.
A medical evacuation flight then returned her to Centennial Airport in south metro Denver, according to Aurora police officials in a posting Tuesday on X, the social media site previously called Twitter. Colorado-based Peak Medevac International handled the transport. Police officials said Mills suffered injuries but is “on the mend.”
