A suspect has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Aurora, police said.
Darrion Rouse, 28, is in custody for investigation of first-degree murder in the death of Jeremiah Lashae Quashawn Cannady, the Aurora Police Department said in a Wednesday news release.
Cannady was shot on June 20 in the area of East Alameda Avenue and South Jamaica Street, police said. He was found inside a car and taken to a hospital, where he died three days later.
An investigation is ongoing. The case will be presented to the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges.
