The United States Postal Inspection Service and Aurora police are seeking tips about a suspect who robbed an Aurora post office Monday afternoon.
The armed robbery occurred about 2:26 p.m. at the 1550 Dayton St. location, the USPIS said on Twitter. The suspect is described as a middle-aged man wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, light jeans, a surgical mask and carrying a blue bag, authorities said. He displayed a black handgun at the time of the robbery, police said.
Tipsters are asked to call USPIS at 1-877-876-2455. Rewards of up to $50,000 are available.
