Police are investigating a suspicious death at a Westminster apartment complex, officials announced Saturday.

Just after 1 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a dead woman at the 8400 block of Sheridan Boulevard in Westminster, at the Toscana Apartment Complex.

According to a news release from the Westminster Police Department, the woman’s body had been found by her roommate in their home that afternoon.

Due to evidence found at the scene, officers are investigating the incident as a suspicious death, the release stated.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
