Flights and concourse trains at Denver International Airport were temporarily paused Thursday morning for about 45 minutes after a person walked past a security checkpoint.
The person about 10:15 a.m. walked past the security checkpoint on the bridge that leads into Concourse A, Denver International Airport spokesperson Ashley Forest said.
Airport personnel made contact with the person within five minutes, Forest said.
Airport operations resumed as normal by 11 a.m.
A Denver Police Department spokesperson who only identified themselves as John in a voicemail message said the person was not arrested. The man was a ticketed passenger who went through security and onto his flight.
This is the second incident in three months in which flights and trains at DIA were paused due to a reported security issue with the A bridge security checkpoint.
In September, a passenger passed through the A bridge security checkpoint with a prohibited item. TSA, DPD and airport security were able to find the passenger and the prohibited items.
