One person was killed and six injured after a six-vehicle crash closed northbound Interstate 25 near Larkspur for four hours Sunday afternoon, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The highway reopened at 4:30 p.m. after a closure between exit 167 for Greenland and exit 172 for Upper Lake Gulch Road, Colorado Department of Transportation officials said in a travel alert.
Troopers responded to the scene at 12:21 p.m. for a six-vehicle crash, state patrol officials said in a news release. Seven people were taken to hospitals and one later died. The conditions of those injured was not immediately available.
