Westminster police are searching for the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck who is suspected of intentionally running over another man and killing him during a Saturday night fight.
Westminster Police Department officers were called to a disturbance at 10:18 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Alcott and Zuni streets. There, they found a man who had been struck by the pickup truck. He was taken to a hospital where he died, according to a Westminster police news release.
The pickup driver hit the other man during an altercation, the news release said.
Police are looking for a black Dodge Ram with chrome wheels and a large circular sticker on the back window, the release stated. The truck has a black work box in the back and pole protruding from the bed.
Police also are looking for an older model, two-door, tan and white car with aftermarket rims. That car may be associated with the pickup driver or be a witness who has information about the crime.
Anyone with a tip on the drivers’ whereabouts should call CrimeStoppers at 720-913-7865. A $2,000 reward is being offered.
