A flatbed truck hauling drywall rolled on the eastbound Interstate 70 exit ramp onto C-470 and the crash shut down the ramp for a couple of hours on Friday afternoon.
The Golden Fire Department responded and freed the driver from the rolled truck wreckage, according to a Golden news release. The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, and the Pleasant View Fire District aided in the response. The driver was taken to a local hospital and is described as being in stable condition.
Drivers trying to exit I-70 eastbound onto C-470 were detoured by the crash and the response. The ramp has reopened.
