The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are reopen after a traffic crash in Glenwood Springs is cleared.
The lanes were closed between Exit 114, West Glenwood Springs, and Exit 116, Glenwood Springs, according to a 2:14 p.m. tweet by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The crash in Glenwood Springs was cleared and the lanes reopened, CDOT said in a 6:43 p.m. tweet.
The eastbound lanes of I-70 were also closed in Glenwood Canyon, from Exit 121, Grizzly Creek, to Exit 123, Shoshone, on Thursday afternoon, CDOT said. The canyon stretch reopened about the same time as the lane reopening in Glenwood Springs.
Meanwhile, a stretch of U.S. 40 is closed in northwestern Colorado by adverse weather and safety conditions, CDOT said. The highway is closed in both directions from Craig to the Utah state line. The U.S. 40 route remained closed as of 8 p.m. Thursday.
