Commerce City police on Monday asked for public help following a shooting Sunday night that left a man dead on East 67th Avenue.
Police investigating the shooting as a homicide warned in a news release posted on Twitter that “the suspect in the shooting has not yet been apprehended.”
On Sunday shortly before 11 p.m., police went to the 5400 block of East 67th Avenue, responding to a report of shots fired, the police statement said. They found the man who had been shot.
Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and that they’re still trying to determine “contributing factors.” No other information was released, and police asked anybody with information to call the Commerce City Police Department Tip Line: (303) 289-3626.
