Interstate 70 has reopened after three closures were reported due to crashes.
The eastbound lanes closed near Floyd Hill between U.S. 6 and exit 247 due to a crash about 1:45 p.m. and one lane reopened about 2:35 p.m. The other lane is still closed.
The crash was first reported about 11:30 a.m. by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Both sides of the interstate closed further west of the crash at the Central City Parkway exit at 1:50 p.m. due to “safety concerns,” with CDOT citing the crash. Those closures were fully reopened at the same time as the first one about 2:35 p.m.
A third crash was reported just after 2 p.m. that closed the westbound lanes of the interstate west of the Post Boulevard exit near Avon.
CDOT announced on Twitter that the lanes were open to traffic at 4:56 p.m.
