Trey Anastasio Trio’s new Denver dates add to Colorado’s Phish-fest of a year

Get your pre-sale codes and ticket-buying fingers ready, because there’s another massive, Phish-related series of shows that are set to sell out in Colorado — and going on sale this week.

Promoter AEG Presents Rocky Mountains today announced a trio of concerts from Phish singer and guitarist Trey Anastasio and his trio, whose solo road dates are often as vigorous and wide-ranging as his main, jam-band group.

Trey Anastasio Trio will play Denver’s Mission Ballroom on June 9, 10 and 11, with tickets on sale to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 7, via axs.com or by calling 888-929-7849. Tickets start at $76.50 plus applicable service charges, the promoter said, and ages 16-and-up are welcome.

If you want to get a jump on the public on-sale, which is sure to be crowded, presale tickets will be available through “a real-time presale beginning on Wednesday, April 5, at 10 a.m. MT,” promoters wrote, at treytickets.shop.ticketstoday.com.

A note: AEG has said there will be a “transfer delay” with tickets, as “fans may begin to transfer tickets on Friday, May 5, 2023.” That includes the ticket limit of four per customer.

The concerts from Trey Anastastio Trio, which includes jazz bassist Dezron Douglas and Phish drummer Jon Fishman, add to Phish’s annual Phish Dick’s concerts, as they’re called. Those are slated to return to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Aug. 31-Sept. 3.

Tickets for those went on sale March 3, and a few at the Platinum Charity are still available for $159-$189 via ticketmaster.com.
