At the plate: First baseman Michael Toglia, a first-round draft pick in 2019 who’s fighting for a spot with the big club, continued his strong start to the spring with the first run of the day — an RBI base-hit in the first inning. In his first three games of spring training, Toglia has gone 3-for-7 with two home runs. … Third-base prospect Warming Bernabel scored in the fifth as Colorado took a 2-0 lead. … Non-roster invitee Jordan Beck scored the Rockies’ final run of the day in the eighth.
