Rain and snow chances are back in Denver for the rest of the work week.
Denver has chances of rain Wednesday and Thursday, then snow is likely to fall during a chilly Friday before a return to mild weather over the weekend.
Wednesday will start out mild with a sunny high of 61 degrees, then there is a 30% chance of rain after 4 p.m. Overnight, as the low temperature drops to 33 degrees, there is a slight chance of rain and snow.
Thursday has a 50% chance of rain during the day which increases to a 90% chance into the evening. The rain will transition to snow Thursday evening, becoming all snow after 10 p.m. The low Thursday night is 28 degrees.
One to two inches of snow is possible overnight Thursday.
Snow is likely to continue falling Friday morning, as the high only rises to 36 degrees.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder expect the Denver metro area could get about two or three inches of snow.
After that, snow chances decrease throughout the day Friday, and sunny weather returns Saturday. The high Saturday is 53 degrees, and temperatures in the 60s return Sunday.
