A man riding a bicycle was killed in a crash with a vehicle Sunday, according to Denver police.

The crash was reported at 9:30 a.m. near the Interstate 25 on-ramp at Santa Fe Drive, Denver police spokesman Sean Towle said. The bicyclist was riding near the interstate on-ramp, he said.

It was not immediately clear how the crash unfolded. The ramp was closed after the crash and police advised drivers to take other routes.

The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene, Towle said. The man who died has not been publicly identified.
